Viva la Mexico!

WOWZA! This trip was just unbelievable. Check my instagram @presleyohearn to see more posts and highlights from this beautiful place. Me and my friend Tessa along with my parents took a quick spring break trip down to Punta Mita! We spent 5 days basking in the sun and eating good food.

Food

Where do I even start! The second we arrived at our small village in Punta Mita we were bombarded with awesome restaurants and small shops filled with sweets, fruits and anything else you can imagine! Pictured below are two of my favorite meals. The first one is from a breakfast place we got almost everyday that had unique toasts, acai bowls, coffee and smoothies! In the second picture you'll see on of my favorite dinners, although every night was wonderful. It was this super cool restaurant right on the water that made all the food in front of you! They even made their caesar salad dressing from scratch! Finally, one of my favorite parts of the trip was when Tessa found these chocolate marshmallows called paletas that she had eaten as a little kid and are only available in Mexico. When she found them she was so excited and it sparked the idea for us to try a bunch of Mexican treats we had never had! So, moral of the story if you are ever in a foreign country, try out their snacks!!

Animals and Fun

During these few days we jam packed in all kinds of activities and fun from tanning to boat rides to jetskiing! A huge highlight of our trip was getting to immerse ourselves in the culture of this town. When we went to the local beaches and restaurants we made friends with people on the beach. We got to know the owners of everything and met their families and animals! Our favorite pups were Oso and the cutest puppy I've ever seen, both pictured below! Apart from our animal obsession we got massages, went on jet skis, and surfed everyday! We loved to listen to music and swim so much. This trip was truly amazing and I'm so grateful to have been able to experience it with one of my best friends! Thanks and see you next weekend, Ciao!!

What a Weekend

This weekend was filled with so much fun, laughter, good food, and fun activities! I was with friends ALL weekend and definitely got my weekends worth of fun!

Saturday

I started off my Saturday with an AMAZING french toast and peach mint iced tea, my favorite drink, from Rhenoud's, a breakfast place in Montecito, California! Once I finished breakfast I hung out with my friend Kennedy! We have been very into listening to Kanye West's new album. Check out my spotify, @presleyohearn, to see my current and past faves! Together, we got into our workout clothes and picked up some more of our friends, Andreas, Magne, and Drake and met up with Max, Emma, Sienna, and Levin to go on a beautiful hike called Seven Falls. The hike was long, but the weather was nothing short of amazing and when we made it to the top the reward was so worth it! The falls and pools of water were so clear and cold! After that, we got lunch at Habit and got cleaned up. To end off the night we went to Levin's house and all hung out. We went in the jacuzzi and watched Despicable Me 2!

Sunday

I woke up to a super hot day!! I drove and picked up my friend's Tessa and Emmy and we got snacks and headed down to the beach. At the beach we met with some other friends and played spikeball, volleyball, and bathed in the sun! Some of them left and brought back cookies, fruit and other snacks. As the heat went down a little we decided to relocate. We packed into our cars and all drove to our friend Waylon's house. At his house I tried the best chips I've ever had: Kettle Honey Dijon Chips. They are amazing. 10/10. BUY THEM! We went in the jacuzzi in his stunning backyard and played basketball on his basketball court. Since we were all barefoot the court hurt our feet so much. Eventually the sun began to go down, as did my spirits because that meant the weekend was coming to an end. I made my way home and got ready for the school week that was coming. Thanks and see you next weekend, Ciao!!
